Sri Lanka, Oct. 17 -- The Sri Lanka Navy Spokesperson stated that 53.134 kgs of heroin were found on the multi-day fishing trawler that was seized by the Navy and brought to the Galle Harbour.

The multi-day fishing trawler was apprehended in international waters south of Sri Lanka and subsequently brought to the Galle Harbour.

Five individuals aboard the vessel were also arrested.
