Sri Lanka, Oct. 11 -- A special discussion was held yesterday (October 10) between former President and United National Party (UNP) leader, Ranil Wickremesinghe, and the leaders of several opposition parties.
The meeting took place at the former President's office on Flower Road in Colombo.
Attendees included the leader of the Podujana Eksath Peramuna, Anura Priyadarshana Yapa, the leader of the Pivithuru Hela Urumaya, Udaya Gammanpila, and Sanjeewa Edirimanna of the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna, among others.
The meeting was convened to discuss planned protest campaigns against the current government, as the administration is set to complete one year in mid-November.
