Sri Lanka, Sept. 20 -- Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa has released the unedited video recording of his meeting with United Nations Resident Coordinator in Sri Lanka Marc-Andre Franche, following widespread debate over leaked remarks attributed to the international official.

In a statement published on Facebook alongside the 41-minute footage, Sajith Premadasa stated that media reports had created misleading impressions regarding their discussion. He noted that the full conversation and its Sinhala translation were made public in the interest of transparency, accountability, and truthfulness, allowing the public to evaluate the exchange independently.
