Sri Lanka, Aug. 3 -- Operations at the Meewathura, Mawanella, and Asupiniella water schemes in Kandy were suspended temporarily due to the rising water levels of the Mahaweli River and Ma Oya, the Chairman of the Water Supply and Drainage Board said.
