Sri Lanka, Aug. 12 -- One person has been seriously injured after a bus crashed into a bus stop near Colombo's old fish market this morning.

Police say the accident happened on the Route 155 Mattakkuliya-Soysapura road. The driver of the bus reportedly fell asleep at the wheel.

The injured person was waiting at the bus stop, which was destroyed in the crash. The victim has been hospitalised.
