Sri Lanka, July 26 -- The High Commission of India in Colombo has announced that there has been no revision to the visa fee policy for Sri Lankan pilgrims travelling to India, reaffirming that eligible pilgrimage groups remain entitled to receive visas free of charge.

In a statement issued on Friday (24), the High Commission said it continues to ensure the prompt and hassle-free processing of visas for Sri Lankan nationals. Applicants also have the option of using India's e-Visa system where applicable.

Sri Lankan citizens applying through the High Commission must submit their online visa applications via the Indian Consular Application Centres (ICACs) located in Colombo, Kandy, Jaffna, Hambantota, and Batticaloa.
