Sri Lanka, Oct. 1 -- The National Transport Commission has stated that there will be no change to bus fares, despite a reduction in fuel prices following the monthly price revision.

The Ceylon Petroleum Corporation implemented a fuel price revision, which took effect from midnight yesterday (30), as part of the monthly fuel price adjustment.

Under this revision, the price of a litre of White diesel and a litre of Octane 95 petrol was reduced by Rs. 06 each.

The price of a litre of kerosene was reduced by Rs. 05.

However, there was no change to the price of Octane 92 petrol or Lanka Super Diesel.
