Sri Lanka, Sept. 17 -- Several new telephone numbers were introduced to submit issues related to obtaining police clearance certificates.

Applicants can submit issues related to submitting clearance applications by contacting the special operations room at Police Headquarters via the relevant 24-hour telephone numbers, the Police Media Division stated.

Submitting applications to obtain police clearance certificates online was temporarily suspended due to essential maintenance work on the computer system.
