Sri Lanka, July 14 -- Engineer S. N. B. M. Padmasiri is appointed as the new Director General (DG) of the Department of Government Factory.

The Cabinet of Ministers approved a proposal presented by the Minister of Housing, Construction and Water Supply to appoint the Special Grade Officer of the Sri Lanka Engineering Service, who currently serves as the Additional Director General of the department, with immediate effect.
