Sri Lanka, Oct. 26 -- The National Building Research Institute issued early warnings for landslides in several areas.

A Level 1 (yellow) warning was issued for the Thawalama Divisional Secretariat Division in Galle district, as well as the Millaniya, Bulathsinhala, Beruwala, and Madurawala Divisional Secretariat Divisions in Kalutara district.

A Level 2 warning for landslides was issued for the Walallawita Divisional Secretariat Division and surrounding areas in Kalutara district.

A Level 1 landslide early warning was issued for the Dehiowita, Ruwanwella, Aranayaka, Yatiyanthota, and Mawanella Divisional Secretariat Divisions in Kegalle district.
