Sri Lanka, July 7 -- A team of Opposition Parliamentarians lead by Namal Rajapaksa unveiled a new political initiative, 'A Team - Next Wave', on Tuesday designed to consolidate opposition voices from inside and outside the Legislature.

The new platform was launched by MPs Namal Rajapaksa, Rohitha Abeygunawardena, Anuradha Jayaratne, D. V. Chanaka, and Chanaka Madugoda.

They noted that 'A Team - Next Wave' will work alongside Opposition MPs as well as political organisations and independent groups without parliamentary representation to highlight public concerns and address key national issues.
