Sri Lanka, July 31 -- Rochelle Abeygunawardena, daughter of Member of Parliament Rohitha Abeygunawardena, who was arrested by the Walana Anti-Corruption Unit, has been released on bail.

The suspect was produced before the Mathugama Magistrate's Court today (31).

Mathugama Magistrate Asanka Hettiyawatte ordered her release on two surety bails of Rs. 2 million each.

She had been accused of altering the chassis number and engine number of an SUV illegally imported into the country.
