Sri Lanka, Oct. 26 -- Deputy Leader of the Tamil Progressive Alliance, Leader of the Up-Country People's Front, and Nuwara Eliya District Member of Parliament V. Radhakrishnan stated that no opposition MP possess adequate security, and that the educational restructuring plans pose a risk of closing down several estate schools.
Speaking at a special media briefing in Hatton yesterday (25), the MP said that the lack of proper security for any MP representing the opposition in Parliament created a situation where they are unable to hold meetings or even speak with the public who voted for them.
