Sri Lanka, Oct. 10 -- Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) Member of Parliament Harsha de Silva claims that the current government is preparing to change the name, logo, and colour of the Suwasariya 1990 ambulance service.

Speaking during yesterday's (9) Parliamentary session, the MP expressed his strong objection to the proposed changes.

MP de Silva, who presented the 1990 Suwasariya Act, No. 18 of 2018, stated that the original objective of the legislation was clear: to create the Suwasariya Foundation to provide free, emergency pre-hospital care ambulance service to anyone in the country.
