Sri Lanka, Oct. 12 -- Motorists travelling through the Bogawantalawa area are reporting difficulties due to lorries operating in violation of traffic regulations.
Drivers stated that several private lorries used for collecting milk from tea estates in the Bogawantalawa area are operating without functioning rear lights, brake lights, or indicators.
The drivers warned that this poses a significant risk for other vehicles travelling behind them.
They explained that because the brake systems of these lorries cannot be detected by following vehicles, there is a high risk of collisions with the milk-transporting lorries.
