Sri Lanka, Aug. 18 -- Police have announced that the three T-56 rifles and five Browning pistols recently discovered in the Korathota, Kaduwela area are replicas.

The discovery was made by the Navagamuwa Police today (18).

However, the police confirmed that the T-56 magazine and the seven live rounds found with the weapons are genuine.

Navagamuwa Police are continuing to conduct further investigations into the matter.
