Sri Lanka, April 29 -- The alleged misappropriation of funds from Ministry of Finance accounts is not a "hacking" incident but a large-scale fraud committed by the government, according to Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) National Organiser and Member of Parliament Namal Rajapaksa.
Speaking to media in Tangalle today (29), he emphasized that the current government is adopting a "pickpocket theory," accusing others of theft to conceal its own corruption.
Rajapaksa further claimed that the narrative of a hacker is far-fetched, questioning how a hacker could allegedly call officials and ask them to sign documents to facilitate a breach.
