Sri Lanka, Aug. 14 -- The Ministry of Education has appointed a voluntary advisory council with the aim of achieving its goals in the education sector.
According to a ministry announcement, the council's purpose is to improve the quality of education by incorporating individuals with diverse experience from various fields.
The council will include university professors, lecturers, teacher unions, and other experts connected to the education sector.
The appointment letters for the council members were handed over today (14) by Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya.
