Sri Lanka, April 16 -- Minister K.D. Lal Kantha submitted his declaration of assets and liabilities to the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption on December 26 last year, in accordance with the Anti-Corruption Act No. 9 of 2023.
This follows the requirement for all political representatives to provide such statements annually.
The declaration lists immovable properties, including a 2,500 sq. ft. residential building and 10 perches of land valued at Rs. 6 million received via gift deeds, a permanent building on 20 perches valued at Rs. 2.5 million, and a 4,500 sq. ft. residence on 14 perches valued at Rs. 56 million.
