Sri Lanka, Aug. 6 -- The annual transfers of approximately ten thousand medical professionals have currently been stalled.

This is according to Dr. Hansamal Wijesuriya, Assistant Secretary of the Government Medical Officers' Association (GMOA).

He made this statement at a press conference held in Colombo yesterday (5).
