Sri Lanka, April 25 -- Modernised facilities at the Maradana Railway Station were opened to the public today (25) following the completion of the project's first phase. Transport Minister Bimal Rathnayake presided over the event.
The first phase of the modernisation project incurred a financial cost of 180 million. According to the Ministry of Transport, these renovations were carried out systematically over a six-month period under the supervision of the Department of Archaeology.
