Sri Lanka, Aug. 18 -- A 42-year-old man from the Mahagama Colony in Sevanagala has tragically drowned while fishing in the Haburugala Bodhiraja Lake.

Police reported that the victim fell into a pit in the lake while fishing with another person.

His body has been taken to the morgue at the Embilipitiya District General Hospital.

Sevanagala Police are conducting further investigations into the incident.
