Sri Lanka, Oct. 8 -- The Western Province South Crimes Division has arrested an individual for aiding and abetting a suspect involved in the shooting and murder of a lawyer and his wife in Akuregoda, Thalangama, by preparing fraudulent documents.

According to the police, the arrested suspect is a 45-year-old resident of Minuwangoda.

The double murder took place on 13th February in front of a supermarket in the Akuregoda area of Thalangama, where the lawyer and his wife were shot dead.
