Sri Lanka, Sept. 9 -- A courteous meeting was held this morning at his Colombo residence between former President Mahinda Rajapaksa and the newly appointed Ambassador of China to Sri Lanka, Wei Huaxiang. Rajapaksa extended his congratulations to the Ambassador, who officially assumed duties following the presentation of his credentials on 25 August. General Secretary of the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna, Attorney-at-Law Sagara Kariyawasam, was also present at the occasion.
