Sri Lanka, March 16 -- Dehiattakandiya Magistrate S.M.S.V.G. Jayawardena ordered to suspend the case regarding the crash of an Air Force helicopter into the Maduru Oya reservoir until the final report from the Air Force Investigation Unit is received.

Post-mortem reports for the six security forces members-two from the Air Force and four from the Army Special Forces-were submitted to the court by the Specialist Judicial Medical Officer of the Polonnaruwa Teaching Hospital.

These reports revealed that all six deaths resulted from drowning.

The Bell 212 helicopter, belonging to the No. 7 Squadron at the Hingurakgoda Base, was deployed for a demonstration during a passing-out parade at the Maduru Oya Special Forces Training School.
