Sri Lanka, Feb. 17 -- Two individuals, including a notorious underworld figure known as 'IDH Sudda' (Samantha Kumara Perera) and a woman named Prabhakaran Priyadarshani, received life sentences from the Colombo High Court.

The court found them guilty of possessing and trafficking heroin and 'ICE'.

Colombo High Court Judge Udesh Ranatunga delivered the verdict following an extensive trial.

The prosecution proved the charges against the duo, leading to the court's decision to impose the maximum penalty for their involvement in large-scale drug distribution.
