Sri Lanka, May 18 -- Former Member of Parliament Wimal Weerawansa and his group face upcoming legal action for attempting to trespass into the War Heroes Memorial grounds at the Parliament Sports Complex, disrupting duties and ongoing rehearsals for the National War Heroes Commemoration Ceremony.

Police Headquarters announced the measure in an official statement.

All arrangements are finalised for a special commemoration ceremony led by the President at the Sri Jayawardenepura Kotte Parliament Sports Complex Memorial tomorrow (19) to mark National War Heroes Day, with final rehearsals and organizational work taking place on-site today (18).
