Sri Lanka, July 20 -- Steps taken to file lawsuits before the District Court to recover unpaid taxes from liquor manufacturing companies that have defaulted on tax payments, the Attorney General informed the Supreme Court today.

The Additional Solicitor General appearing on behalf of the Attorney General made this notification when a fundamental rights petition filed requesting an order to recover the taxes from the liquor manufacturing companies that defaulted on tax payments.
