Sri Lanka, April 16 -- A stock of 1,298 live bullets used for T-56 firearms was discovered in the reservoir near the dam close to the Parakrama Samudraya Rest House in Polonnaruwa.

Police stated that a team of officers from the Polonnaruwa Crime Investigation Division found this ammunition during a special search operation.
