Sri Lanka, May 25 -- The National Building Research Institute (NBRI) has issued landslide early warning notices for six districts due to the prevailing rainy weather conditions across the island.

The warnings will remain valid for a 24-hour period from 4:00 p.m. today (25) until 4:00 p.m. tomorrow (26).

Level 2 - "Be Alert" (Amber) landslide warnings have been issued for:

Kegalle District: Dehiowita, Deraniyagala, Ruwanwella, and Yatiyanthota

Ratnapura District: Kuruwita, Ratnapura, Ayagama, and Eheliyagoda

Level 1 - "Be Aware" (Yellow) landslide warnings have been issued for:

Colombo District: Seethawaka and Padukka

Gampaha District: Attanagalla

Kalutara District: Palindanuwara, Matugama, Bulathsinhala, Agalawatta, Ingiriya, and ...
