Korean Embassy introduces visa application system in Sri Lanka
Sri Lanka, Aug. 20 -- The Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Sri Lanka will introduce changes to its visa application procedures from August 21, 2026, following the opening of the VFS Global Visa Application Centre in Colombo.
Under the new system, all regular visa applications, including the submission and collection of passports, will be handled exclusively through the Visa Application Centre.
Applicants will be required to submit their visa applications and passports through the Centre, while passports with issued visas will also be returned through the same facility. All visa applicants are required to make a prior appointment through the Visa Application Centre's website.
