Sri Lanka, Feb. 9 -- Ten individuals, including Venerable Balangoda Kassapa Thera, appeared before the Trincomalee Magistrate's Court today, February 9. The group, which includes four Buddhist monks and six laypersons, returned to court following a previous order that held them in remand custody.
The legal proceedings involve the Chief Incumbent of the Sri Sambuddha Jayanthi Bodhiraja Viharaya, Venerable Trincomalee Kalyanawansa Tissa Thera, along with Venerable Balangoda Kassapa Thera, Venerable Trincomalee Sukhithawansa Tissa Thero, and Venerable Nanda Thera.
