Sri Lanka, Sept. 29 -- Jaffna District Parliamentarian, Ramanathan Archchuna, was arrested by the Fort Police today (29) after he arrived to give a statement regarding an incident that occurred during a protest on September 22.

The arrest was made on allegations that the MP disturbed police duty by forcibly parking his vehicle in front of the Fort Railway Station during the demonstration.
