Sri Lanka, July 31 -- Bone fragments belonging to four more human bodies have been discovered at the mass grave near the Chemmani Sitthupattu cemetery in Jaffna.
Excavation officials confirmed that these fragments were found during the fourth phase of the ongoing excavation.
This latest discovery brings the total number of human body fragments found so far during the excavations of this mass grave to 115, with 102 individual sets of bone fragments having been excavated.
The fourth phase of excavations at the mass grave is scheduled to continue for 15 days.
The excavations are being carried out under the orders of the Jaffna Magistrate's Court, facilitated by the Criminal Investigation Department.
