Sri Lanka, Oct. 17 -- Following her extradition from Nepal, Ishara Sewwandi is currently being questioned, and a significant amount of information has been uncovered.
Yesterday (16), officers from the Colombo Crime Division took her to the Mathugama to inspect a location where she is believed to have hidden after the Ganemulla Sanjeewa murder and before fleeing the country.
Investigations have also revealed that she had previously been in hiding in the Middeniya area.
Subsequently, it is reported that she travelled by taxi to Kilinochchi, where she hid in a house for several days before proceeding to Jaffna.
From Jaffna, she escaped to India via a vessel.
