Sri Lanka, Oct. 28 -- The Irrigation Department extended the flood warning issued for the Kalu River basin for the next 24 hours.

Following the extension, authorities advise residents living in low-lying areas along the Kalu River to remain vigilant regarding prevailing water levels.
