Sri Lanka, April 29 -- The Indian Navy ship 'INS NIREEKSHAK', which arrived for a mixed gas diving training programme, departed the Colombo port following the conclusion of its visit.
The Sri Lanka Navy bid farewell to the vessel in accordance with naval traditions.
During the stay, the Commanding Officer of 'INS NIREEKSHAK', Commander Sailesh Kumar Tyagi, met with the Commander of the Western Naval Area, Rear Admiral Jagath Kumara, at the Western Naval Command Headquarters.
The vessel, a 'Diving Support Vessel', engaged in a 'Mixed Gas Diving Training' programme with the Sri Lanka Navy while stationed in the island.
