Sri Lanka, Aug. 9 -- A human head without a torso was found in the Wellawaya, Thune Kanuwa area on the Ella-Wellawaya road, police said.

Police mentioned that this human head was found in a thicket near the road.

Definite information on the human head not yet disclosed, and police suspect that it is the head of a person who died a few days ago.

The Police have commenced investigations.
