Sri Lanka, Sept. 17 -- An employee working at a hotel located in Seeduwa town was pushed off its upper floor and murdered, Seeduwa Police stated.

It was revealed that the deceased was an employee who resided on the upper floor of the hotel.

Police noted that investigations so far revealed the deceased hotel worker and a friend of his, employed at the same hotel, were consuming alcohol yesterday (16) when an argument broke out between the duo, leading to the incident.

As the argument between them escalated, the suspect pushed the victim off the upper floor.

The person who lost his life in the incident was a 49-year-old resident of the Boyagane area.
