Sri Lanka, Aug. 19 -- The Department of Meteorology forecasts several areas of the island to experience heat that can be felt by the human body tomorrow (20).

The department stated that this hot weather condition is likely to persist in the Eastern, North Central, provinces and the districts of Hambantota, Monaragala, Vavuniya, Mullaitivu and Kilinochchi.

Meanwhile, showers are likely to occur in some areas of the Western, Sabaragamuwa, provinces of the island as well as in the districts of Kandy, Nuwara Eliya, Galle and Matara tonight (19).
