Sri Lanka, Aug. 8 -- The Hiru Seela Paramitha programme, organised by the Hiru media network for Nikini Full Moon Poya, is currently underway at the historic Miyugunarama Rajamaha Viharaya in Kolambagama, Wariyapola.

The event began with devotees observing the eight precepts under the guidance of the Chief Incumbent of the temple, Venerable Gallehepitiye Pemarathana Thera.

A Poya Dhamma sermon is scheduled for 7:30 a.m. by Venerable Koteneluwe Punnyananda Thera. This will be followed by a special Dhamma discussion at 8:30 a.m. with the participation of Venerable Thumbulle Silakkandha Thera, Professor Mahinda Herath, and Professor Pradeep Weerasinghe.
