Sri Lanka, Sept. 6 -- Hiru Media Network secured top honours across television, radio, news, digital platforms, and live entertainment at the Lanka Chairman's Business Excellence Awards 2026.

Hiru TV was crowned the Most Popular Television Channel of the Year, while Hiru News bagged the award for the Most Popular News Channel of the Year.

In addition, Hiru TV's morning broadcast "Paththare Visthare" won the award for Most Popular Television Morning Programme of the Year.

In the entertainment sphere, "Paata Kurullo" was named the Most Popular Drama of the Year, while "Hiru Star" secured the award for Most Popular Reality Programme of the Year.
