Sri Lanka, July 9 -- The Department of Meteorology expects hot conditions to prevail across parts of the country today (09).

Mainly, Batticaloa, Ampara, and Moneragala Districts face significantly elevated temperatures.

The department advises elderly individuals and those with terminal health conditions to remain vigilant in this weather.
