Sri Lanka, Aug. 25 -- The Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Mass Media have deposited Rs. 120,877,000 into government revenue from the public auction of 60 decommissioned vehicles.
According to the ministry, the sale included 53 vehicles sold for general use and seven sold as scrap.
The auctioned fleet consisted of cars, three-wheelers, and motorcycles.
The ministry also announced plans to auction an additional 18 vehicles petrol vehicles with engine capacities over 1,800 cc and diesel vehicles over 2,300 cc-once they receive approval from the Ministry of Finance.
