Sri Lanka, April 10 -- The Government Medical Officers' Association (GMOA) will conclude its 48-hour token strike tomorrow (11) morning. Following the end of this action, which focused on several demands including transfers, the association will announce future trade union measures.

The strike caused severe disruptions to treatment services at government hospitals across the island.
