Sri Lanka, April 11 -- The Frontline Socialist Party submitted a letter to the Public Utilities Commission of Sri Lanka (PUCSL) requesting the rejection of a proposal by the National System Management Company to increase electricity tariffs in the second quarter of this year.
Pubudu Jayagoda, the Education Secretary of the Frontline Socialist Party, delivered the letter while demanding an end to the practice of passing losses from coal procurement scams onto electricity consumers.
