Sri Lanka, July 26 -- The Police Special Task Force (STF) in Hanwella has arrested four individuals connected to the drug network operated by "Bus Laliya" alias Lalith Kannangara, an organised criminal and drug trafficker based in Dubai.

An STF motorcycle unit team, acting on a tip-off, set up a roadblock.

The suspects attempted to evade the roadblock but were apprehended.

The arrested individuals, aged 25 and 47, are residents of Hanwella and Hokandara.

At the time of their arrest, they were found with three motorcycles and 'Ice' (crystal methamphetamine).

Police also stated that these individuals are linked to the drug network of another alleged drug trafficker known as "Akkun," residing in the Jalthara area.
