Sri Lanka, July 29 -- Former State Minister Prasanna Ranaweera, along with two others, has been further remanded until August 4.
They face charges related to the alleged sale of a land plot valued at Rs. 200 million in Kiribathgoda town, using forged documents.
The decision was made when their case was called before Mahara Magistrate Kanchana de Silva yesterday (28).
In a separate development, the Colombo High Court Judge Sahan Mapa Bandara ordered the case filed by the Bribery Commission against former Minister Chandrani Bandara to be called again on the 4th of September.
She is accused of misusing her powers as the Minister of Dry Zone Development during the 'Government of Good Governance'.
