Sri Lanka, Aug. 25 -- Former State Minister Diana Gamage was released on Rs. 10 million personal bail after surrendering to the Colombo Magistrate's Court today.

The court had previously issued a warrant for her arrest after she failed to appear for a hearing on seven cases filed against her.

The charges against the former state minister include staying in Sri Lanka without a valid visa.

The order was issued by Colombo Chief Magistrate Asanga S. Bodaragama.
