Sri Lanka, Aug. 20 -- Former Minister Manusha Nanayakkara has left the Illegal Assets Investigation Division of the Financial Crimes Investigation Department after giving a statement that lasted for nearly eight hours.
He was summoned to the division to provide a statement over an investigation being conducted under the Money Laundering Act.
A senior police officer has stated that the former minister will be called back to the division again in relation to the incident.
